  • Saffron Energy/Coro Energy. It’s a Bit Convoluted. But it’s a ‘Goodun!’

    Saffron Energy/Coro Energy. It’s a Bit Convoluted. But it’s a ‘Goodun!’

There’s never a dull moment on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) particularly when one is trying to work out whether we’re being sold a ’pup’. You’ve got to go through all the available documents line by line, then re-read each and every document line by line. As well as using all available sources to see what you can come up with, such as what the company are involved with below the radar and how this could affect value going forward. (More on this below)

Such is the convoluted nature of the Saffron Energy Reverse Takeover. Black-tie events apart & the machinations of Po Valley assets in,  out, suspension, relist, suspension, relist, AGM dates constantly re-jigged etc. The information saturation on this one would take its toll on the patience of a saint.

But now all finally seems to be coming to fruition. The well-known corporate bastard, (CB) James Parsons (JP) and his team of lessor corporate bastards are now ready to and no doubt raring to go. Being classed as a ’Corporate bastard’ may ‘sound’ (No pun intended) harsh. Far from it. Again, unless you’re steeped in corporate culture you’d not realise that this is a worthy accolade, of sorts….. A corporate bastard gets the job done for his/her shareholders and the benefit of the company. Warren buffet is a corporate bastard. The head of BP is a corporate bastard. They are bringers of value. They do what is necessary regardless of short term pain for long term gain. When choosing an investment or a short-term trade always bet on the CB. Proven management bring value. Proven shysters lose value.

All too often we as investors/traders are sold down the river by corporate shyster lifestyle companies operating on the AIM, it’s littered with them, in fact it’s like a backed-up lavatory at a Japanese POW camp, literally over-flowing. I’ve watched and followed the bowel movements of these companies and have written and exposed many of the dirty tricks that they try to pass off as good business when it’s anything other than good. So, it makes a change when a real opportunity comes along. Such as Sound Energy that hit over £1 & the great Echo bonanza that rallied to over 25p in the first few months of development.

At the moment we all await the Saffron AGM which is nothing but a rubber stamp of the proposed terms of the RTO. Trying to cut through the corporate speak and get to the nitty-gritty of what comes out of the other end has in my opinion not been very well communicated to share-holders and those looking to trade/invest post the AGM ratification of the RTO.

So, I’ll break it down into common parlance. Layman’s terms. I’ll also give the readers of my most wonderful blog site the heads up on what is currently going on in Indonesia. Humpty Dumpty

Pre-the AGM there’s 200,000,000 million Saffron shares in issue. Post AGM, on the 29th March 2018, there will be a new company formed: Coro Energy (LON: CORO) with team JP at the helm.

Shares in issue will be 716,809,735. Warrants & Options outstanding will amount to 236,817,341. The warrants will have a strike price of 6.57p, the placing shares have been sold at 4.38p per share. There will be circa $15M in cash, virtually debt free with bread & butter production. The Company’s cornerstone investor, CIP, together with Continental Investment Partners S.A.,Metano Capital S.A. and Greenberry S.A, Marco Fumagalli and James Parsons have been classed as a ‘Concert Party’ they will hold, post AGM, 22.82%. Po Valley will, unless they’ve been selling pre AGM , hold 100,000,000 (13.95%). There will also be an open offer of 45,662,100 shares to existing shareholders. There will be a plethora of ‘Lock ins’ on stock held, most will stick to the lock in. But me being me I don’t set much store by them. One lot who will be slowly drip feeding into the rises will be Po Valley. Regardless of what they say….

Following the AGM ratification, in aggregate, the Company will own 2P (proved and probable) gas reserves of 205.10 MMscm, 2C (contingent) gas resources of 660.20 MMscm, and 2C oil resources of  2.40 MMbbls. The best way to understand the structure of the newly formed entity is the pictograph (Right).

The asset base post AGM will be cash generative which will increase as Coro invest and rework over existing and new fields in Italy.

Now the main direction of Coro will begin to focus on South east Asia, Indonesia and Malaysia.

I was down as a placee until the suspension and pulled out due to the ever-changing time line of readmission and terms. Now PVO are out, which is a much better value driver for Coro. Too many CEOs aren’t good for stability. Just as too many cooks spoil the broth, too many CEOs fuck the company up. Now they’re out. That’s good news all round.

It’s known by ‘Yours Truly’ that Coro are in advanced negotiations with several Indonesian oil & gas companies and are in talks with the Indonesian state-owned oil company PERTAMINA.  One of their new directors, Ilham Habibi, (Son of a former President of Indonesia) has direct access to the top echelons of PERTAMINA. I know this because I met Mr Habibi in Indonesia last year. (I was on Sefton business) Several of the assets I toured were up for grabs including a 10 Million scuffs a day gas producer with half a TCF resource. And a 3,000 bopd asset owned by Fosters oil. So, you can take it as read that there’s going to be multi TCF Indonesian exploration/production assets brought into Coro some time in 2018.

Any news on big exploration gas/oil licences or producing oil/gas assets will set the share-price on fire. It’s a no-brainer that the SP will rise. The question isn’t ‘if’ it’s when. Any thing under 5p is a steal. Any one selling now will rue the day…  I’ve set a target between 12p-15p over the next 12 months. And as ever will closely follow the news and the developing story. Investors should do likewise, keep researching them. It will pay off.

I have to ‘fess up’ that I’ve been holding/buying shares in Saffron for quite some time!   🙂

Get ready for ‘Go’ on Coro!

  • Saffron Energy. There’s more to come… Gas that is!

Saffron Energy. There’s more to come… Gas that is!

Today Saffron Energy (LON: SRON) finally announced what was already basically known by those who follow and read www.guerillainvesting.co.uk  That is that Bezzecca gas production has now come on stream at 30,000-40,000 scm per day. This when added to 10,000scm currently being produced from their Silaro field gives them production of 40,000-50,000 scm per day. Financially this is over three hundred thousand euros per month. Circa £250,000 per month times this by twelve and we get £3,000,000 per annum in revenue. That is a phenomenal success story in the world of micro-cap oil and gas.

    SHAREPRICE

Shiny ‘Mac Shine’. Brand new kit now producing…

The SP has spluttered on very good news! When in actual fact it should be heading towards 10/11p etc. One of the quirks of the AIM is that impending good news is usually forward sold into by the brokers and the ‘canny’ high net worth’s. You can see it in the late trades that were being announced over the last two weeks. Profit taking. Every one is entitled to take it. So when you’re looking at Saffron or any other Company remember think ahead and don’t be discouraged by a rise that spluttered on good news. There’s always a reason for it. Normal service will be resumed once the SP settles down.

    WHISPERS

Sources here are indicating that gas production from Bezzecca could easily surpass 50,000 scm per day as the Company work out their best flow rates over the coming weeks. Again any increase in production will significantly add to their revenue. These are a bargain at todays SP. I did hear that their CEO (Masterman) was in the UK and will be having a tete a tete with investors this week. A question I would ask if I was their would be this; “Bearing in mind what was being discussed on the recent site visit, will the 100,000scm per day be reached this year?”

Great little producer this. Could be 12p-15p by the end of this year….

  • Saffron Energy RNS Imminent! Gas flowing! Confirmed!

Saffron Energy RNS Imminent! Gas flowing! Confirmed!

It’s great news reaching the ‘International Finance Blogger of the Year’ (I only put that title in to annoy certain people 🙂 ). When you have a ‘Big Stick’ it’s nice to beat a few people with it lol!!!

Hopefully those at Saffron will be forced to release an RNS today on the back of this small Blog.

The Gas Meter Dials are Whizzing around at Bezzecca !

Gas is flowing at Bezzecca. Reports of a minimum 30,000 scm per day that equates to about 200 barrels of oil or equivalent. This is now in the public domain so the Company should release an RNS immediately!

Great news for the Company and a testament to a genuine small oiler that within a few months of their Initial Public Offering (IPO) have now brought in a major revenue stream. This is a super achievement. Think of ALL the companies in this sector that have for years upon years promised so much yet delivered absolutely nothing other than fleece retail investors and they’re still at it today!  The road to AIM is littered with broken promises and broken companies. Saffron Energy have taken 2 months to do what most of the piss poor lifestyle comps’ still haven’t done in 4,5,6 years!

Well done to all at Saffron. It’s a refreshing change to be congratulating a company rather than castigating it!

  • Sound Oil Tight Lipped & Nervous on Nervesa.

More gas on the way. More cash on the way!
More gas on the way. More cash on the way!

Sound Oil (LON: SOU) have been quietly going about doing the business in Italy.  The share price hasn’t really done any thing other than mainly stay static. 10.5/11p. It’s actually maintained a stable holding pattern considering the oil price has plummeted, while news has been sparse. The strength of the Company fundamentally and asset wise is reflected by the stability in the share-price. Every thing is now lined up. Cornerstone investor, two producing assets, cash revenue coming in, Italians (ex-ENI) all in place on the Board, Italian bureaucracy, streamlined, High net worth’s involved, Nervesa about to be drilled, Cash in the bank, basically debt free. Lot of maneuvering  has gone on to get Sound oil to this place in time. Lift off is here.

When I say ‘sparse’ I mean the Company are deliberately tight lipped. Always a sign that they’re sat on price sensitive news and don’t want a leak to ‘outside of the tenters’ such as yours truly.  A communications lock down means they’re ‘nervous on Nervesa.’

    Albert & Sound
    About to go ballistic

There’s a lot of news about to come through as they gear up for what the Company describe as  ‘an exciting period of back-to-back drilling’, which commences with site operations at Nervesa in a matter of  a few weeks or two. News has reached the blog that all is on track for a major  announcement over the coming week/s. Just what that is, isn’t known. But it’s almost certainly good news, bearing in mind that the flagship asset, Nervesa  is about to go ‘operational’. Once this is announced then it’s game on for the sp. It will begin to climb. I expect the sp to double in value from where it currently stands. Then we have news on the exploration play that is Badile. A massive gas play that would catapult Sound oil into the arms of a major international oil company, never to be seen again. Gone, taken over for the good of Italy.

I’ve been trying to get an interview with the boy Parsons (CEO), the man’s a difficult fish to land. Particularly as he’s a frequent flyer, flying back and forth across Europe. Last spotted having a cappuccino with an Italian energy minister.  We’re not supposed to know that! It’s no wonder that Continental Investment partners (Sounds’ ‘cornerstone Investor’) have agreed to throw more cash into the hat via one of their affiliated partners Greenberry S.A. It’s money for jam for them. They know (Unlike most) that they’re going to get a hefty return on the investment. Nervesa remains a Major project for Sound Oil with an estimated NPV10 of circa US$66,000,000 million (100%). Which will probably rise.

    Tight lipped.

I’ve been keeping my eye on Italy news wise. The Italian oil and gas permitting process has now been cleaned up making life a lot easier re’ the permitting process. This was announced back in late August of this year by their Prime Minister.

Remember Nervesa is a huge gas discovery, once it comes on stream the sp should be transformed. It can only go one way. UP↑. Even as the oil price struggles Sound will reap huge benefits from Nervesa which is as those in the know know, gas, which is as those in the know know, highly sought after in Italy. Premium prices being paid.

    Not so ‘tight lipped’

According to one recent article “Italy is the new Texas.” With over 40 small to middle oil companies on the verge of unlocking proven oil/gas resources. Sound Oil being one of them mentioned in the same article as? ENI!

    Happy Days

  • Sound Oil The Swiss are coming!

More gas on the way. More cash on the way!
More gas on the way. More cash on the way!

For all those familiar with the Sound Oil story here’s a quick update.

There’s a Swiss clock ticking over at Sound Oil (LON: SOU) Hot off the press and following on from the James Parsons & Director Luca Madeddu UK private investor share-holder get together, after their successful presentation at the 67th Oil Barrel, news is coming through on BMD’s black telephone that there’s a secret, yes secret, private international investor presentation in the pipeline (at the request of an Institution) to be held some where in Europe. It’s all very ‘hush, hush’. So keep it quiet. We don’t want questions raised such as? ‘Why are international investors desperate to get there Swiss franc into Sound Oil just before a potential official farm-in RNS? Do we?

These are not UK investors these are Swiss by birth. Are they private Bankers, Chocolatiers’ or makers of Swiss army knives? We don’t know, but what we do know is that It would seem this could be tied to an impending big news release on a potential International Oil Company farming-in to the huge exploration play that is Badile. This farm-in could be a Company Maker and when announced will push Sound oil stock like a juggernaut

The early bird catches a Swiss Roll….

  • Sound Oil bleeps ….. radar twitch….

    It's logic. They're going up.
    It’s logic. They’re going up.

As you all know I am a big fan of Sound Oil (LON:SOU)

I was expecting to take part in their Conference call tomorrow but news from the Company is that it’s been delayed until 24th September which coincidently is 24 hours before Sound present at the Oil Barrel Conference.

I will be attending the Oil Barrel & have with Doctor Holiday from the http://docslaymanschatter.blogspot.co.uk/ prescribed a 60 minute private investor tete a tete with the Sound oil team for 11.40am. I will be speaking to the “Boy Parsons” in my official capacity as “I hold a large chunk of SOU stock”. Tell me it’s going to treble!

These opportunities do not come along very often so I’d urge any one who wants to get ahead of the game on SOU to Email: [email protected]  to be added to the meeting list.

Now far be it for me to speculate why the attention of Sound oil needs to be somewhere else tomorrow but I do believe that there’s some good news in the pipeline which has coincided with the Conference call. There is a whisper that we will get some form of “Good News” what this will be is any ones guess. Farm-in? Farm out? Another major institution coming on Board, ENI, Edison or some other Major taking a piece of SOU?

We just do not as of yet know. One thing is for sure there’s an RNS on the way.

    Eyes on…..

  • Sound Oil (LON: SOU) Einstein’s Equation….

    It's logic. They're going up.
    It’s logic. They’re going up.

As promised we’ve tried to keep sourcing info’ on some of the Companies that we’ve had fantastic gains on over the last few months etc. Next up Sound Oil (LON: SOU).

At the moment it looks like the SOU sp is in a holding pattern. No real movement either way at 12p ish. September could be a busy month for the Company. It’s been bandied around online that the CEO has been on his holidays and is now back progressing the Company. There’s plenty going on in the business behind the scenes, what with Nervesa approvals, Niche farm in, Badile farm in & whispers of Laura farm-in etc. We do know that, regardless of what SOU refuse to confirm or deny, that they are in talks with at least 2 Major oilers, on farm-in & potential takeover should they come up trumps on Nervesa, Badile, Laura etc.

I did actually hear that some form of ‘chat’ with Rockhopper Exploration (LON: RKH) may have gone on a few weeks ago. How true this is? I’d say 50/50.  Recent news has included, the Badile land purchase & long lead items, Nervesa long lead items & well head purchase, Letter of intent with Drillmec Spa for the exclusive use of an AHEAD 375 Drilling Rig in Italy for both the SMG and Laura wells, and first gas at Casa Tiberi. This points to a Company going in the right direction.

Take a good look at the Einstein Equation pictorial. Therein lies the answer to the question we are all asking; ‘How high can they go on more positive news?’ It really is a question of perception for each individual investor. We know that Takeovers or farm-ins of Companies with world class assets, always come at a premium to the current share-price.  There are many different schools of thought. Takeover; 60p, 100p, 40p, 50p, Farm-Ins; 25p 20p, 30p, 18p. One thing is very likely, they are going up towards 20p this year.

Do not be fooled for 1 minute by the Company line; ‘The aim is to make Sound Oil a footsie 250 Company’ This will never happen. They will, subject to continued success, be swallowed up.

Logic should dictate your move here. Hold for Farm-In & or Takeover News in 2014.
